How to Use Seestar AI Enhance

Inhaltsverzeichnis

The AI Enhance feature delivers professional post-processing for deep-sky photos and Milky Way Mode shots, making your astrophotography clearer, more natural, and packed with richer cosmic details for stunning visual results.

You can also turn on real-time AI Enhance during live stacking within Stargazing Mode, or activate it mid-capture while shooting in Milky Way Mode for instant on-scene image optimization.

Step-by-Step Operation Guide for AI Enhance

    1. Enter Post-Processing Page

Tap the Post-Processing tab on the Seestar App homepage to open the post-processing workspace, then select AI Enhance to launch the tool.

    2. Add Target Images for Post-Processing

Tap + Add Images to open your local image library. Select multiple astro photos you want to edit and tap Export to batch download them to the AI Enhance page.

Note: If you have previously downloaded these images to your app storage, you can skip the export step and jump straight to editing.

    3. Select Image & Pre-Edit Before Smart Enhancement

Back on the AI Enhance homepage, tap any downloaded photo to open its preview window, then hit the bottom AI Enhance button to access pre-adjustment tools.

Available pre-processing tools before smart enhancement:

      • BIN2 (Binning 2): Enable this feature if your mobile device lacks sufficient performance. 4K or higher resolution photos may cause app crashes or enhancement failures; BIN2 reduces resolution to stabilize processing and boost success rates.
      • Horizontal Flip: Flip your astro image horizontally for composition adjustment.
      • Vertical Flip: Flip your captured photo vertically.
      • Crop Size: Drag the frame to crop unwanted edges and refine your cosmic composition.
      • Rotation Angle: Rotate the image at any angle to fix tilted star fields.

After finishing all pre-edits, tap Next to start Smart Enhancing. Keep the Seestar App open during processing to avoid corrupted image output.

    4. Tweak Custom Enhancement Parameters

Once smart enhancement finishes, you will enter the fine-tune editing page to customize your astro photo effect with sliders:

      • Star Reduction: Shrink oversized star points; drag the slider to control reduction intensity.
      • Brightness: Raise or lower overall exposure of your deep-sky shot.
      • Contrast: Adjust the gap between dark space backgrounds and bright nebula details.
      • Saturation: Boost or tone down color intensity of galaxies, nebulae and the Milky Way.
      • Denoise: Suppress digital noise to create smoother, cleaner night-sky images.

      Top toolbar quick operation buttons:

      • Cancel: Exit the current editing session without saving changes
      • Undo Previous Step: Revert the last adjustment you made
      • Compare: Toggle between original unedited photo and enhanced preview to check differences
      • Save: Store the fully edited astrophotography to your local device album

When you finish all parameter tweaks, tap Save to export your post-processed image.

    5. View & Manage Processed Images

All saved enhanced photos will automatically store to your phone’s local album for instant viewing and sharing.

You can revisit Post-Processing > AI Enhance anytime to re-open edited files: compare before/after effects, re-apply AI enhancement, share photos, or delete unwanted works for easy astro image management.

Key Tips for Stable AI Enhance Processing

    1. If your smartphone or tablet has low processing power, enable BIN2 during the crop pre-editing phase to prevent crashes or failed enhancement tasks.

    2. Download target images from your Seestar device to the app storage first. You can edit and enhance photos offline even when the telescope is disconnected later.
