What is the Seestar App?

The Seestar App is your all-in-one companion for connecting with your Seestar smart astronomical telescope and exploring the universe.

With the app, you can:

• Intelligently control the telescope and auto-align with celestial targets;
• Capture the Sun and landscapes during the day, and shoot the Moon and deep-sky objects at night;
• Explore the star map, identify stars, and learn astronomy basics;
• Browse stunning astrophotos from users around the world and share your own captures.

How to Start Your First Shoot?

Just 3 easy steps to begin your journey into the night sky:

1. Power on the device and connect to Seestar (follow the in-app Wi-Fi connection guide)
2. Select a mode based on your target: Stargazing / Solar System / Scenery, then choose a target (e.g., Moon in Solar System mode)
3. Tap GoTo, wait for the telescope to align and capture - images can be saved directly to your phone

Recommended First Targets:

• Deep Sky Objects: You can open the celestial catalog in the star map and check the "Best Tonight" list.
• Sun or Moon: Simple and convenient, quick to get photos.
• Reminder: Always use the solar filter when shooting the Sun!
