Why 4K?
In previous versions, Seestar captured images at 1080p by default — good enough for everyday stargazing records. But many users told us:
- Original images lose detail when zoomed in
- Compression for community sharing causes quality loss
- Limited flexibility for deep - sky cropping and post - processing
We heard you — and now, 4K is here.
Compared to 1080p, 4K significantly improves image resolution, reveals richer details, and opens up more possibilities for editing, cropping, and even large-format printing.
How to enable 4K?
On the capture interface, tap the “···” menu in the top right, enable 4K before you start shooting.
