How to Find Seestar File Storage

    This tutorial details the storage location of photos and videos captured by Seestar, plus multiple ways to export your astrophotography footage to your mobile phone or computer.

    1. Where Seestar Stores Your Captured Footage

    All raw source files shot with Seestar are saved to the telescope’s internal onboard storage.

    Power on your charged Seestar, establish a connection within the Seestar App, then open My Album to browse all stored images and videos.

    2. Download Files Directly to Your Mobile Phone (2 Methods)

    Method 1: Batch Download Multiple Images & Videos

    Open your target album folder, tap the multi-select tick icon at the top right. Tick all photos or videos you want to save, then tap the download button at the bottom of the screen to start bulk export.

    Method 2: Single File Export via Preview Page

    Tap any photo or video to open its full detail preview. Tap the menu icon in the bottom-right corner, then choose Download or Export to save the single file to your phone gallery.

    3. Copy Files to Computer via USB Cable

    You can also connect your Seestar telescope to a computer with a USB data cable to directly copy all stored image and video source files from the device’s internal storage.
