This tutorial will guide you on how to manually point the Seestar towards the sun in Solar Mode.

1.Search for the sun without tools.

First, connect Seestar to your mobile device, enter Solar Mode, install the sun filter correctly, and click "Skip GoTo to observe" to enter the shooting page.

Click and slide the direction button in the center of the screen to adjust the Seestar lens to move toward the sun.

First, adjust the direction button in the center of the screen to the left or right to adjust the azimuth angle of the Seestar lens.

While adjusting, observe the gap between the Seestar body and the lens. When sunlight can completely pass through the gap and shine onto the ground, it means that the azimuth angles of the Seestar and the sun are coincident.

PS: During the process, you can switch between fast and slow movement speed according to your needs to obtain a more delicate mobile control experience.

At this point, you can adjust the center direction button up or down to adjust the height angle of the Seestar lens.

While adjusting, observe the shadow of the Seestar lens on the screen and the ground. When the sun appears in the center of the screen and the shadow of the Seestar lens on the ground reaches the minimum, the sun is successfully found manually.

2.Use homemade tools to find the sun

First, you need to prepare a solar auxiliary aiming tool and install it on the Seestar lens using a suction cup or adhesive.

Enter Solar mode, install the sun filter correctly, click "Skip GoTo to observe" to enter the shooting page, click and slide the direction button in the center of the screen, and adjust the Seestar lens to move toward the sun.

During the movement of the Seestar lens, the sunlight of the observation aid passes through the small hole and shines on the crosshair position.

Adjust the pointing direction of the Seestar lens move the sunlight passing through the small hole of the auxiliary tool to the center position, and then observe the screen. The sun appears in the center of the screen. At this time, the manual search for the sun has been completed.
